Hey GM, loyalty is a two-way street!

A decade ago, when you were on the verge of bankruptcy, Canadian taxpayers bailed you out to the tune of nearly $11 Billion

How do you repay us? By planning to close the Oshawa plant, affecting tens of thousands of Canadian workers, and expanding instead in Mexico.

Betraying taxpayers and putting Canadians out of work is no way to say thank you for 100 years of service in Oshawa!

Canada is one of your top global markets -- we purchased 300 thousand GM products just last year. However, Canadians know that loyalty is a two-way street.

GM, do the right thing and allocate product to Oshawa now.

If you want to sell here, you need to build here!

I am a PPWC local 2 brother and this is not right. I own a GMC and I will remember GM’s lack of foresight on this issue when it is time to replace my vehicle.

This is a Betrayal… The GM employees and our governments bailed them out when they needed help… Employees took wage concessions and had NO raises for a several years. This is a slap in the face for employees and retirees who have strived hard and long to make GM what it is today. YES indeed… " Greedy Motors "

This is corporate greed at its highest form. The citizens of Canada and the United States will not forget this betrayal. Don’t forget who buys your cars and who you worked together with to build this company, not to mention the governments that bailed you out to help keep you afloat. KEEP OSHAWA OPEN OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES!!

It’s disgusting that Canada doesn’t take care of itself anymore. We’re first to help other places, while all middle-low income families suffer. The rich get richer, and the poor stay poor.

This decision to close the GM Oshawa assembly plant is purely a slap in the face to the taxpayers of Canada whose hard earned money bailed out GM 10 years ago and look at the thanks we get. Shame on General Motors Management. This is nothing but pure corporate greed! How many of the management people are going to lose their jobs? How does management sleep at night?
