Hey GM, loyalty is a two-way street!

A decade ago, when you were on the verge of bankruptcy, Canadian taxpayers bailed you out to the tune of nearly $11 Billion

How do you repay us? By planning to close the Oshawa plant, affecting tens of thousands of Canadian workers, and expanding instead in Mexico.

Betraying taxpayers and putting Canadians out of work is no way to say thank you for 100 years of service in Oshawa!

Canada is one of your top global markets -- we purchased 300 thousand GM products just last year. However, Canadians know that loyalty is a two-way street.

GM, do the right thing and allocate product to Oshawa now.

If you want to sell here, you need to build here!

If GM wants to shut down the Oshawa plant and move operations to Mexico then they should repay every cent the Canadian government gave them as bail out. Until then, they should stay put. This isn’t a rock song. We didn’t tell them to “Go on take the money and run”

Their bottom line means nothing if they’re fucking over the very workers who got them where they are.

My husband spent almost 31 years toiling in the plant. I am left with a broken man. Severe spinal arthritis in his spine from the repetitive abuse at increasing rates of production and workload. Once vital, now hunched over and unable to enjoy everyday life. Thanks gm.

Very dissapointed that GM is repaying our generosity with this callous move. How can I ever purchase another G M product?

Canada did good for GM when they were in trouble. Therefore GM have an obligated to remain good with the Canadian and to keep their present foot print in Canada and consider future business in Canada, not the other way around.
